Sowchea PAC wants SMART boards

The Parent Advisory Council for Sowchea Elementary will be holding a dinner and silent auction to raise funds to purchase SMART boards for the school.

The boards allow for more interactive, immediate and relevant learning, according to Cam McCormick, Sowchea’s principal.

They are touch-screen boards and a teacher can then print what has been written or drawn as well.

The dinner and silent auction are February 3 at Sowchea Elementary, with dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. and the bids closing on the silent auction items at 7 p.m.
