Enbridge wants time to talk to First Nations and correct some things before holding a technical information session in the Fort.
"In particular, we need to correct misconceptions related to potential project risks and misconceptions (and third party misinformation) related to the very material benefits the project would convey to local First Nations communities," said Gina Jordan, spokesperson for Enbridge.
The meeting will be rescheduled, but Enbrdige did take time to meet with town council to keep them "Apprised of recent project developments," said Jordan.
While some information sessions have taken place in the region, many have been postponed.
