Training continues for local firefighters.
Members of the Fort St. James Fire Department participated in a Live Fire II Course on June 18-19.
Three members took part along with three from Fraser Lake and four from Mackenzie.
On June 25, the spring recruit class received hands on training. Skills learned include:
extinguishers, car fires, dumpster fires and level entry fire attacks.
The next Fort St. James Fire Dept. application deadline is September 2 at noon.
Applications are available for pick/up and drop off at the district office.
