It was an exciting finish after a full weekend of minor hockey at the Fort Forum on Jan. 6-8.

Six peewee hockey teams competed including two teams from Prince George, Fraser Lake, Burns Lake, Houston and Fort St. James.

The Fort St. James Stars showed off their skills on Jan. 8 for the final game against the Prince George Gators.

The game kept many spectators on the edge of their seats as the two teams battled for first place.

A 4-4 tie led to a most gripping finish as the two teams faced off in suspenseful shootout.

And it was the Stars who won keeping their first place trophy at home.

Second place went to the Prince George Gators and Burns Lake won third place.
