AnnaMariaRainbacher

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Maria Rainbacher (Muhlbacher) on November 5th, 2014. She was born in Austria on May 24, 1933. She led a full, adventurous life. From growing up through WWII in Austria, to emigrating to Canada and marrying the love of her life in 1956, she spent almost a decade in the Yukon before settling in Fort St. James in 1964 where her and Walter Sr. built and developed a growing a business right into the next century. Anna was pre-deceased by her husband, Walter, of forty years in the winter of 1997. She is survived by her sister, Lisi Moser (Muhlbacher) and her nephew Peter Moser, still in Austria. Her son Walter (Jr.) and his wife Lisa and their children, Tahjauna, Gabrielle and Kelton Rainbacher live in Prince George, BC. And Her daughter Andrea Keegan (Rainbacher) with her Husband Chuck and their son Tristan Keegan of Calgary. AB. She is also survived by her beloved (and spoiled!) dog Mozart, now residing with Andrea in Calgary. Anna will always be remembered as the strong, outspoken, and athletic woman who will be dearly missed by many in Canada and Austria.

Memorial service to be held at Our Lady of The Snows at 1pm on November 15, 2014, followed by coffee, sweets and

get together at the Stuart Lake Golf Club.
