September 21, 1931 - July 24, 2016

Ed was born in Westlock, Alberta Married Esther Evans, March 15, 1954. Moved to Fort St. James in 1954, and had two children Debbie (Gordon Devauld) and Terry (Gail), one grandson Travis (Carlene).

Ed was a machine operator on road construction and maintenance for the Department of Highways and Yellowhead Road and Bridge until his retirement.

An avid outdoorsman he enjoyed trapping, fishing, snowmobiling, blue grass festivals and riding his motorcycle.

Predeceased by his wife in 2002, his parents, 3 brothers and 6 sisters.

Survived by sister Sylvia Madson, sister-in-law Margaret Thompson, Lydia Evans and Lois Playfair (Gerry), brother-in-law Jess Johnson and many, many nieces and nephews.

To live in the hearts of those that remain Is not to die.
