It is with sadness that Vern’s family announce his unexpected passing Thursday, April 7, 2005 at Prince George Regional Hospital. Vern was a Veteran of WW II and a 47 year resident of Fort St. James.
The funeral was held Friday April 15 at 4pm in the New School Gym with Reverend Jenny Carter officiating. The Legion Members held a moving recognition ceremony also.
The family would like to say a big “THANK YOU” to all the people of Fort St. James who gave their support in many ways!! The meals, food, Flowers, cards, setting & cleaning up of the gym and the moral support is infinitely appreciated.
WE WILL MISS YOU DAD, GRANDPA, BROTHER, UNCLE, AND FRIEND, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN JOURNEY ON!!
