Sowchea Elementary’s Grade 7 class was being recognized at the year end assembly by Principal Cam McCormick on Wednesday, June 29.

He assured them Sowchea kids do well in high school, and they will have a good time in their new school.

Some students were recognized for their efforts during the awards presentations earlier in the week, and their accomplishments were retold during the assembly.

For many, high school might bring anxiety and more difficult social interactions, but with some perseverance and patience, it can also be a great time as well.

Good luck to all the Fort St. James Grade 7 students going on to high school, and don’t worry, it’s only high school, there’s lots more to life yet.
