As January draws to a close, Fort St. James eagerly embraces February, bringing the excitement of Winterfest.
Kicking off the festivities on Friday, Jan. 31 is the 28th Annual Caledonia Dog Sled Races, held this year at the Snowmobile Clubhouse due to the lake's inconsistent freezing.
The district will continue Winterfest with week-after-week of challenges designed to engage the community and get them outdoors.
Additionally, Murray Ridge Ski Hill is fully operational this year, thanks to favourable weather conditions up on the hill. Another fantastic Family Day is planned this year and just like the stunning sunset captured above on Saturday, Jan. 25, there is so much beauty to explore in Fort St. James, B.C.
