The mother of three cubs seen throughout the community over the past week was caught in a live bear trap today.
The three cubs were reportedly trapped and tranquilized as well, with the help of the Conservation Service from Vanderhoof.
The plan was then to take the four bears out to the Teardrop area between Fort St. James and Prince George to relocate the animals to a remote area.
