The district is planning on putting in bike racks in downtown Fort St. James.
Superintendent of Public Works Dennis Saharchuk is working on finding some suitable locations and racks for the town.
Councillor Bev Playfair suggested a compact design she saw in Prince George and both she and Mayor Sandra Harwood would like to see the racks made locally if possible.
No definite locations have been decided on, but in front of CIBC was suggested, as was Spirit Square.
