On April 16 at 2:33 p.m., the Fort St. James RCMP received a report of a body being discovered near Tachie Road and North Road.
Officers attended and confirmed the individual to be deceased.
The individual has been identified as a 51-year-old Fort St. James resident, however furhter details are being withheld until all family members have been notified.
Police to do not have any reason to believe that the public is at risk.
