Sensible B.C. volunteers Cindy Hayes and Rosemarie Conant collect signatures for the campaign.

The Sensible B.C. campaign to decriminalize marijuana possession continues in Fort St. James and across the province.

Cindy Hayes and Rosemarie Conant were volunteering their time to get names on the list.

The proposal is for a new law which would disallow the use of police resources to prosecute the possession of small amounts of marijuana by adults.

If enough names are collected, a province-wide vote will take place.
