Chip truck burns near Bednesti

Highway 16 is down to one lane about two kilometres east of Bednesti.

Highway 16 is down to one lane about two kilometres east of Bednesti.

Police say a fully loaded B-train chip truck caught fire at about 2 a.m. this morning. The driver was no injured in the fire. The truck is outside fire district areas so no fire crews have responded, thus authorities are waiting for the truck to burn itself out and was still burning at 8 a.m. Monday.

Motorists can expect delays.
