Its spring and Fort St. James needs you to pitch in.
The annual event, “Pitch- in-Week” asks that community members come out and lend a hand in helping keep the town clean and rid of garbage.
Deputy Corporate Officer of the District of Fort St. James, Lina Gasser says that District will supply bags and gloves.
If people pick up garbage just simply tie up the bags and District will pick them up.
“It’s also a great way for the community to get together and get involved,” Gasser said.
The event will take place from April 17-23.
Gloves and bags can be picked up at the District office.
