Nak’albun Elementary School in Fort St. James held their annual kindergarten graduation on June 23.

It was an especially special group this year according to kindergarten teacher, Dawn Collins who was proud to share all of the accomplishments and achievements of her students highlighting each of their strengths.

Awards were given to each student marking their most valuable skill including math, reading, sportsmanship and friendship.

The ceremony began with drumming, followed by teacher’s awards, kindergarten awards and a lunch for family and friends in attendance.

“We could not have had such a successful year without all of the special teachers and parents,” Collins said.
