Family of Natasha Montgomery, one of the four women alleged to have died at the hands of accused serial killer Cody Legebokoff, held a ceremony for the woman March 19.

The ceremony took place in Prince George, at the apartment where police believe she was murdered, and the family prayed for the woman and smudged the home to help cleanse it.

The family has since released a statement pleading for any information on where Montgomery's remains may be in order to provide closure for the family's loss.

"The loss of Natasha has had a very devastating impact on our family," said the family in the release. "It is hard enough to accept the fact she is gone, let alone not having the ability to lay her to rest."

They also described the emotional impact the alleged murder has had on Montgomery's children, calling them "scarred."

The family is asking for any information on Legebokoff's activities before his arrest, as this may help lead police to Montgomery's remains.

Montgomery was last seen in August of 2010.

“While Cody Legebokoff has been charged and will be tried for the death of Natasha, we still need to know where she is in order to give her family the dignity of a proper burial”, says Cst. Lesley Smith, North District RCMP Media Relations Officer. "She was a beautiful, loving and caring person."

Police are asking anyone with any information to call the specially created Tip Line 1-877-987-8477 (TIPS).
