PRINCE GEORGE – Last week the ICBC made important changes to its optional comprehensive coverage to include windshield repairs for all private passenger vehicles. The change is expected to benefit 2.5 million drivers across B.C.
All ICBC-accredited Glass Express facilities offer this new program to their customers and can process the ICBC claims on their behalf.
“If the damage is about the size of a toonie or smaller, it’s within the parameters of repair. Repairing a chipped windshield considerably reduces the chance of a costlier replacement being required” explains Speedy Glass national technician trainer Roy Tarcea.
