One year after the disappearance of 20-year-old Madison Scott, her family is still searching for answers.
On May 28, 2011, Scott disappeared after attending a party at Hogsback Lake, outside Vanderhoof.
Last seen at around 3 a.m. on Saturday morning, her tent and truck were found by police, but no sign of Scott.
“This investigation remains a priority for North District Major Crime”, says Cst. Lesley Smith, North District Media Relations Officer. “ We believe that there is information out there and it is our hope that someone will come forward to help us determine what happened. The police need information and Maddy’s family need answers.”
Scott's family continues to seek information which might help the investigation, and have now increased the reward to $100,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for their daughter's disappearance.
On May 26, the family has organized an ATV Poker Ride, starting at the Hogsback Lake campsite.
