Twenty-four-year-old Abraham, a resident of Prince George, is originally from Takla Landing, and has been charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.

The charges related to multiple incidents within the same area of Prince George (P.G.) on the same day.

RCMP in P.G. responded to a report of screams from a parking lot near Queensway and Patricia Boulevard at 6:47 p.m. on Feb. 26.

At the scene, RCMP found a 63-year-old female who reported she was assaulted while clearing snow from her car by a woman who then tried to take the vehicle.

The victim fended off the attack and was not seriously injured.

At 8:16 p.m., RCMP responded to a residence on Queensway where a man reported he had been stabbed by a woman he let into his home. She then fled the scene, but the victim gave a description similar to the one from the previous incident.

The 71-year-old victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

While RCMP were at the scene of the second incident, another report came in of an attempted home invasion robbery in the same area at 8:27 p.m..

Upon arriving at the scene, RCMP found an uninjured 78-year-old woman who reported a female of the same description as the previous incidents came into the victim’s home through an unlocked back door and asked to use the phone.

The suspect then allegedly attempted to steal the victim’s purse and fled the scene.

RCMP located Abraham at 12:45 a.m. on Feb. 27 and arrested her in relation to the incidents.

Abraham was held in custody until her appearance in court on Feb. 28.
