Teachers strike Monday

The Teacher's union has voted to take action, and declared a strike starting next week.

The teacher's struggle has come to a head this week with teachers voting to begin job action.

Starting next week teachers will be on strike, though there will be no picket lines due to a Labour Relations Board (LRB) ruling. Schools will be open for the duration of the strike, though there will be no teaching in the school.

The British Columbia Teacher's Federation has given the two day's notice that the LRB required and can now strike for up to three consecutive days.
