A lone vehicle fire on Sept. 26 had traffic slowed along Highway 27.
The driver of the truck reportedly saw sparks coming out of the trailer near the electrical components.
By the time the driver was able to pull over and take a look, the fire was more than he could put out.
The medium-sized transport truck was pulled over on the southbound side of Highway 27, just north of Vanderhoof when it happened, but no firefighters attended the scene because it was outside of fire jurisdiction boundaries.
There were no injuries in the incident, and the fire was left to burn itself out, with traffic control helping with traffic until the truck was cool enough to tow away.
