Vandalism at David Hoy

Poorly spelled graffiti and damaged electronics greeted students at David Hoy Elementary School on Nov. 18.

Over the weekend, a person or persons had vandalized the school.

On Nov. 15, RCMP were informed there had been white skull images, profanity and slogans spray painted on the outside of the school.

RCMP were called in the early morning to a report of entry to the school.

Windows were broken to gain access and computers and electronic equipment were reportedly damaged and there was more spray painting through the school's interior.

The RCMP said they are actively investigating the incidents and anyone with further information can please contact the Fort St. James RCMP at 250-996-8269.
