Alex Mitchell

Alex Mitchell, 92, passed away peacefully at Moog & Friends Hospice House in Penticton, BC on Tuesday, September 5, 2017.
Alex was born February 22, 1925, the second youngest of 6 children.
Alex is survived by his immediate family; sister Juanita Lindsay, grandchildren, great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other family & friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley, his sisters Elaine, Bev, Idelle and his brother Bill.
He raised his family in Fort St. James where he operated Fort St. James Stages, a bus passenger and freight service for many years.
He was a long time member of the volunteer fire dept. and served on Town Council. He moved to Osoyoos, BC after retirement.
He always enjoyed visiting with his family and friends.
He lived a full life and has earned his rest. He will be greatly missed.
