Alex passed away peacefully in Prince Albert, Sask., with his daughter Linda by his side. Alex was a well known resident of Fort St. James and will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents Lois and Alexander Leggatt. His sister Helen and his brother Howard. He is survived by his wife Jean, his sister Lois, his sons Howard (Martha), Norman (Joanne) and his daughter Linda Boyer (Eugene). Alex was the proud grandfather of Andrea, Danny, Darren, Melanie, Jodi and Julie and took great pleasure in his great grandchildren Jessica, Jordan, Teegan, Ayden, Orrie, Ethan and Jake.
A memorial service will be held April 10, 2004 at 2:00 a Fort St. James Senior Secondary School. Israel Prabhudass to officiate. In lieu of flower donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Auxiliary to the Stuart Lake Hospital.
