With a heavy heart we announce the passing of Joan at the age of 86, she will be deeply missed and loved eternally. Born in Prince George but resided in Aleza Lake until 1943 when she moved Fort St. James and married Robert (Bob) Ubleis in 1951.
Joan had a passion for arts and crafts, and she was able to share this passion with her children and grandchildren through the years. Joan is survived by her 2 children, daughter Ruth (Ted), and son Gordon (Christy), grandchildren, Mike (Erika), Melanie, Dana (Troy), and Robert (Amelia) and her great grandchildren, Andee, Aimee, Kyra, Myles, Sebastian and Taylor. A graveside service was held on November 22, 2018 with immediate family.
