On Wednesday, June 18, 2008, Cynthia Evelyn (Cindy) Dressler, (nee Graham), late of Winnipeg, Manitoba, peacefully rose to the loving arms of her Father at the age of 53 years. Predeceased by her father, Tom Graham in
2002 and her brother Trevor in 1983, Cindy is survived by
her mother, Pearl Graham of Fort St. James, BC; husband Max of Winnipeg, MB; sons Rob of Kamploops, BC and
Eric of Calgary, AB; brothers Tom (Wilma) Graham of Prince
George, BC and Tyler (Katie) Graham of Fort St. James,
BC; sisters, Gloria (Richard) Ouellette of Fort St. James,
BC, Charlene (Jay) Bobrowich of Salmon Arm, BC, Kelly
(Wayne) Akister of Cheadle, AB, Corinne (Bob) Sinclair
of Prince George, BC; along with numerous nieces and
nephews. Cindy was born in Vanderhoof, BC on March
13, 1955. An outgoing and devoted student, she excelled
at athletics and garnered a reputation as an accomplished
athlete. She and her husband Max were married on
September 14, 1974 and until the 1990’s resided throughout western Canada as part of the RCMP family. Their sons, Rob and Eric, were born in Whitehorse
Yukon Territory in 1977 and 1979 respectively. Cindy
and Max have resided in Winnipeg since January 2007.
Cindy’s loves in life were her God, family and friends. Her
spirit, selflessness, kindness, wonderful sense of humour
and love for others were without equal. These wonderful
gifts served her well as she fought and ultimately reigned
over the devastating affl iction of Schizo-affective Disorder. Cindy was the most beautiful human being and the world has shone much brighter for
it. A Celebration of Cindy’s life was held on Tuesday, June
24, 2008 at 2 p.m. in Westhill Park Baptist Church, 8025
