CONROY, Kenneth Henry
passed away peacefully on Friday July 4th, 2008 after a brave fight with Leukemia. Ken is survived by his wife Rita,
daughter Donna (Gary), son Al, his mother Ruth, siblings Ron (Greg), sister Kathy (Stan), sister Colleen as well as nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Ken enjoyed time with his family and was involved in many activities in his lifetime including snow mobiling, piloting light aircraft, traveling, and working on their property. Ken also loved to teach a willing student, and many benefi ted from his
patient instruction in driving and water skiing.
Ken was a steel fabricator who worked for Tree Island
Industries, was especially proud of his 30 years of service and had retired last year. Ken had also built many enduring friendships during his tenure with the company.
A Celebration of Kens life with his family and friends took place Monday, July 14th, 2008 at 11am in the Maple Ridge
Legion, Branch #88, 12101 224th St, Maple Ridge, BC.
