MADELINE LUCILLE BIRD
It is with great sadness that
our family announces Madeline’s
passing September 23,
2007. Madeline passed away
in comfort and peace to wait
for our Lord. In 1919, Madeline
Graham was born in Des
Moines, Iowa. In 1938 she
married Wallace Crowe in
Cranbrook, BC, and moved
to the Prince George area in
1947. Madeline was widowed
in 1962 and married
Charles Bird in 1965. She
and Charlie resided in Williams
Lake, Fort St. James,
and retired in Prince George.
Madeline was predeceased
by fi rst husband Wallace
Crowe, second husband
Charles Bird, sister Catherine
Crowe, sister Alberta Pierce
and brother Orville Graham.
Survived by son George
(Joan), daughter Rosalie, son
Michael (Carol), sister Darlene
(Fred), fond nephew
Bud (Wilma), ten grandchildren,
twenty-four great
grandchildren and four great
great grandchildren. We extend
our sincerest gratitude
and appreciation to all the
staff at Rainbow who became
Madeline’s extended family,
and all of the Health Care
Providers who assisted Madeline
over the years. Madeline
had a sharp mind, was
known for her great cooking,
and had a colorful personality.
We will miss her. Private
