MOHAN SINGH
SANDHU
March 7, 1926 to
October 25, 2007
It is with heavy hearts
that we announce our
fathers passing at Surrey
Memorial Hospital
on October 25, 2007. He
will be sadly missed by
his wife of 42 years, Sheila
Kaur Sandhu. He will
always be loved and cherished
by his children Sajjan
(Rajperminder) (Fort
St. James, BC), Jindy
(Manjit-Giani) Gill and
Jag (Amarjit). He will be
dearly missed by his pride
and joy, his grandchildren
Sony (Hardeep), Arman,
Navin, Roshan, Suneal,
Sajhan and Simrin.
Dad was born in Rurka
Kalan, India where he
lived for 29 years before
migrating to Canada in
1955. He resided in Kamloops
for 15 years before
moving to Fort St. James
in 1970 where he built a
home and raised his family.
With his dedication
and strong work ethic, he
called Takla Forest Products
his home away from
home for 21 years. He
established many good
friendships and strong
ties to the community in
Fort St. James. Upon retirement
he moved to the
Lower Mainland where
he would spend his remaining
years.
Our father was a simple
man whose sole purpose
in life was to ensure the
health, happiness and well
being of his family. He
enjoyed gardening, going
for walks and tinkering
with his tools while being
the house handyman. His
strong presence and love
will be felt by his family,
always.
