Bathrooms before flower beds

Why do we still have no public toilets in the downtown centre?

Dear Editor

During the summer in the farmers market downtown location it has been obvious that there is a need for public toilets.

This is an issue that seems to be unwilling to be addressed.

It is not uncommon to witness public urination in the downtown core or come across faeces on the trail - no - dogs do not use toilet paper.

On the surface the town may look beautiful with the new benches and flower beds.

Would the money for beautification be better spent on toilets for anyone visiting the town?

Why do we still have no public toilets in the downtown centre?

Respectfully

B. Barnes
