Thanks from Afghanistan

Mike and I would like to thank all in town who signed the huge Christmas card for our son Erik

Mike and I would like to thank all in town who signed the huge Christmas card for our son Erik who is serving with the army in Kabul, Afghanistan.

He phoned to say he had received it and is extremely touched that so many people took the time so sign it and send their best wishes to him.

He has it in his room at camp and all his buddies there are quite impressed that so many people signed it.

He also said that there are many cards sent by the public to “any Canadian soldier” that all can open and put them up in the canteen.

Again, many thanks to all.
