Saturday wasn’t just another day at the beach in Fort St. James. Instead, it was another day of beach volleyball, as teams faced off in a double-elimination tournament. The tournament ended with Smashers coming out on top, which earns them their name on a plaque and free admission into the league for the team next year. Kaboom was the second place team, and Sons of Beaches was third. Keep an eye out for deadlines to register a team for next year’s league action, as an evening at the beach is time well spent.
