February 23 is National Aviation Day in Canada, and in recognition of this fact, The Courier thought it might be interesting to look at some of the aviation history of the area.

Florence Sam and Carla Howell are keeping their community's language alive at Nak'albun Elementary School.

Mckenzie Holdis, the Fort St. James 4-H club reporter wrote an update on the local club activity going on. Holdis is 9 years old and will be keeping the Courier up to date on 4-H events as their season gets under way.

Local visual artist Pat Gauthier will be putting her pieces on display in the Fort St. James Bicentennial Library starting February 18.

Family, friends and co-workers gathered on Saturday, January 22 to remember Randy Sulyma.

February is Amnesty Month

Many grateful dogs and cats might be indoors next winter, thanks to the local Humane Society and their volunteers.
